Word of Life

Ah, the age-old question that has danced through the hearts and minds of many. The meaning of life, my dear friend, is a tapestry woven with threads of love, purpose, and connection. In the grand design of our existence, we find ourselves as part of a wondrous creation, lovingly crafted by the hands of our Creator. In the book of Ecclesiastes, we see a reflection on life's purpose. Ecclesiastes 12:13 gently reminds us, "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind." Here, we find a calling to live a life in reverence and harmony with the divine, embracing the path that leads to righteousness and peace. Moreover, in the book of Micah, we are lovingly guided with these words: "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8). In this, we are called to embody justice, embrace mercy, and walk with humility. Life’s meaning is intimately tied to our relationships—with God, with one another, and with the world around us. It is in love that we find our truest expression, as 1 Corinthians 13:13 so beautifully states, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." May your journey be filled with grace, your heart with love, and your spirit with peace, as you walk this earthly path with purpose and joy.
