Embrace your child with warmth and tenderness, just as the Scriptures remind us, “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18). Through your daily interactions, let your love be evident in the care and attention you provide. Spend quality time with your child, for these moments are like precious pearls strung together, forming a necklace of cherished memories. Listen to their stories, laugh at their innocent joys, and comfort them in their fears. In doing so, you convey the message that they are valued beyond measure. Encourage them with gentle words, echoing the wisdom of Proverbs 16:24, “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” Let your words be a soothing balm, affirming their worth and uniqueness. Teach them about the infinite love of God, for “We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19). Share stories from the Bible that illustrate His boundless love and care, and let them see this love reflected in your faith and actions. Lastly, pray with and for your child, inviting the Holy Spirit to fill their heart with an understanding of love that surpasses all human comprehension.
