Word of Life

Dear Liz, In life's journey, there are moments when we seek guidance and understanding. Remember, you are not alone. As it is written, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1, NIV). This divine assurance reminds us that we are watched over with love and care. When the path seems unclear, lean on the wisdom that guides us through the sacred scriptures. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." It is by trusting in a higher power that we find clarity and peace. In moments of doubt or fear, embrace the promise that "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1, NIV). His presence is a sanctuary, offering comfort and strength to our weary souls. Kindness and love are the cornerstones of our faith. As you walk this path, extend these virtues to others and, indeed, to yourself. In doing so, you reflect the light that "shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" (John 1:5, NIV). May your heart be filled with peace and your spirit with courage. Whatever challenges you face, know that you are cherished and supported by a community that walks beside you in faith.
