As Proverbs 15:1 gently reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." With this in heart, approach the person with sincerity and love. Share your feelings honestly, expressing how their actions have affected your heart and trust. In this sacred dialogue, offer them the space to speak their truth, for James 1:19 guides us, "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." This openness may allow for healing and reconciliation. However, if the weight of untruth becomes too heavy to bear, seek strength in letting go. Release the burden into the loving arms of the Divine. Remember the peace that Philippians 4:7 promises, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Letting go does not mean forgetting, but rather choosing to free your spirit from resentment and pain. Embrace forgiveness, for it is a gift you give yourself as well as others.
