Word of Life

My dear friend, in times of life's tempests, God's love remains steadfast and unwavering. The storms, whether they be of nature or of spirit, serve as reminders of our dependence on Him. As it is written, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18, NIV). Our human frailty often leads us astray, yet our Creator's grace knows no bounds. Even when we falter, His arms are open, ready to embrace us with forgiveness and love. The parable of the prodigal son beautifully illustrates this divine truth. When the son returned from his wayward journey, his father welcomed him with open arms and a heart full of compassion (Luke 15:20, NIV). Though storms may rage around us, let us remember that the Almighty is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1, NIV).
