In Acts 2:42, it says, "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Through sermons, Bible studies, and other forms of teaching, we can deepen our understanding of God's truth and apply it to our lives. Lastly, attending church allows us to participate in worship and praise. In Psalm 95:1-2, it says, "Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song." When we gather together, we can collectively express our gratitude, adoration, and surrender to God through worship. While God is indeed present everywhere, the unique blessings and purposeful fellowship found in the church make it an invaluable part of our spiritual journey.
