Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
Jesus, help me with anxiety and depression.
Dear Child of God, In these moments of heaviness, may you feel the tender embrace of our Savior. The Lord, in His infinite love, is ever near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Remember, His grace is a gentle whisper, calming the storms within your soul. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28). Jesus invites you to lay your burdens at His feet, to rest in His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Take heart, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33), and His light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5). In times of anxiety and despair, let us be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10). Meditate on His promises and allow His word to be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and His plans for you are plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Embrace His everlasting arms and find comfort in His eternal love. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and may He give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). With love and gentle whispers of hope.
