He wants us to be on fire for Him, passionately pursuing a life that honors and glorifies Him. Therefore, as believers, we should examine our hearts and seek to cultivate a fervent and passionate love for God. Let us strive to be on fire for Him, actively pursuing His will, and living out our faith in a way that brings glory to Him and blesses those around us. May we never become lukewarm, but rather, may our hearts burn with an unwavering love for our Savior.

The church in Laodicea has become lukewarm, lacking the passion and dedication that Jesus desires. Jesus warns that he will "spit out" the lukewarm church. This is a metaphorical expression of his rejection and disapproval. He wants his followers to be fully committed to him, not half-hearted or indifferent. May we be filled with the Holy Spirit, that our hearts may burn with passion for Your kingdom and Your righteousness.
