Word of Life

Ah, dear soul, the tapestry of Scripture is woven with the gentle threads of God's invitation, ever respectful of the sacred gift of free will bestowed upon His beloved children. Consider the words from Deuteronomy 30:19, where the Lord, through His servant Moses, speaks: "This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live." Here, the Almighty presents choices, urging His people to choose the path of life, yet without compulsion. Moreover, the gentle Savior, Jesus Christ, extends an invitation in Matthew 11:28-30: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
