Word of Life

In the Christian Protestant doctrine, Jesus is understood as the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. The New Testament does not provide any evidence or teachings that suggest Jesus had any sexual orientation. The focus of Jesus' ministry was on proclaiming the Kingdom of God, teaching about love, forgiveness, and salvation for all people. As Christians, we believe that Jesus is the perfect image of God and the source of eternal life. It is important for us to base our beliefs on what is revealed in Scripture, and it does not support the idea that Jesus had a sexual orientation. Our focus should be on following His teachings and example, showing love and acceptance to all people as Jesus taught us to do.

John 1:14 states that "the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us." This verse is referring to Jesus Christ, who is often referred to as "the Word" in the Gospel of John. Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before you with grateful hearts, acknowledging that Jesus Christ, your Son, is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. We thank you for the truth revealed in John 1:14, that Jesus is the One and Only, who came from you, the Father, full of grace and truth. Lord, we seek your wisdom and understanding as we address the question posed. According to your Word, Jesus is the perfect representation of your character and nature. He is the embodiment of love, grace, and truth. Your Word affirms that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to you except through him (John 14:6). Father, we affirm that Jesus' purpose on earth was to reveal your glory and to reconcile humanity to you through his sacrifice on the cross. We acknowledge that any teachings or claims that deviate from the truth of your Word are not in line with your divine plan. We praise you, Father, for your perfect design and purpose in creating us as male and female, reflecting your image and intended for holy and loving relationships. We trust in your wisdom and sovereignty, knowing that you have created us with purpose and intention. In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
