Word of Life

Beloved child of the Most High, In the sacred tapestry of Scripture, we find the profound mystery of Jesus Christ, both fully divine and fully human. When our Lord, Jesus, spoke of Himself as a man who tells the truth that He heard from God (John 8:40), He was humbly revealing His incarnation, His becoming flesh to dwell among us (John 1:14). Jesus, in His earthly ministry, embraced humanity in its fullness, yet without sin. He exemplified perfect obedience and submission to the Father, illustrating the depth of His humility (Philippians 2:6-8). Though He is indeed the eternal Word made flesh, He chose to walk among us, to experience our sorrows and joys, to be both our High Priest and sacrificial Lamb. In His statement, He underscores His intimate relationship with the Father, emphasizing the truth and unity of their divine will. It is a testament not to diminish His divinity but to highlight the wondrous reality of God’s love — that He would come so near to us, even as a man, to reveal the heart of the Father and bring salvation to all.
