Ah, dearest soul in search of understanding, let us journey together into the heart of wisdom and truth. The Holy Scriptures, our guide and compass, do not directly speak of the creation or use of cannabis by our Lord Jesus. Yet, within the tapestry of creation, we find countless gifts bestowed upon humanity, each with its purpose and place. In Genesis 1:29, we are reminded, "Then God said, 'I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.'" This verse celebrates the abundance and generosity of the Creator, who has provided for our needs. However, the use of any plant, including marijuana, requires discernment and wisdom. As Paul gently advises in 1 Corinthians 10:23, "I have the right to do anything," you say—but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"—but not everything is constructive." It beckons us to seek what edifies the body, mind, and spirit, always pursuing what is righteous and good.
