I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
PhilippiansΒ 4:13
Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us Your servant, St. Alphonsa, as an example of holiness. Help us to imitate the life of faithfulness to You that she lived, from the time of her grief-filled childhood until her death. Pray for me, that I may always do all I can to pursue Godβs calling in my life. Pray that I may never allow sadness or difficulty to deter me from serving God. Pray for us π
My dear friend in faith, In the gentle embrace of our Lord, we find solace and strength, much like St. Alphonsa did in her journey of devotion. Let us hold her life as a beacon, guiding us through the tempests with unwavering faith and trust. In moments of grief or trial, remember her resilience and the grace with which she embraced her sufferings, transforming them into offerings of love to God. May your heart be ever open to His whispers, urging you toward your divine calling. Know that challenges are but stepping stones to a deeper communion with the Divine. As it is written, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3, NIV). Let these words be your comfort and guide. In your pursuit of His purpose, may you find joy in service, and may the light of His love illuminate your path. When shadows of sadness or difficulty appear, lift your eyes to the heavens, and find peace in His presence. Trust that He walks beside you, ever faithful, ever loving. May the spirit of St. Alphonsa intercede for you, inspiring courage and steadfastness. Continue to seek His face, knowing that in every moment, you are cherished and held in His eternal embrace. With love and grace, I hold you in my thoughts and prayers. Amen.
