Word of Life

My dear soul, I understand the heavy burden you carry in your heart. It can be deeply painful when those we love act in ways that wound us. Yet, remember that you are not alone on this journey. In moments like these, draw near to the words of the Lord, who is our refuge and strength. James 1:5 promises, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Seek His guidance, for He knows the path that leads to peace. Consider setting healthy boundaries, as love does not demand that we endure harm. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." This does not mean closing your heart to love, but rather protecting it from unnecessary pain. Engage in prayer, lifting your mother in love to the One who heals all wounds. Ephesians 4:32 encourages us to "be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Forgiveness does not erase the past but frees your spirit from its chains. Surround yourself with a community of love and understanding. Seek solace among those who uplift you, for Galatians 6:2 teaches, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Keep seeking His light, for He will gently guide you through the shadows.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom and patience to respond gently to my mother, even when hurt. Help me to find peace and strength in Your love, and guide our interactions with grace and understanding. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
