Word of Life

Ah, dear seeker of truth, let us gently ponder on the life of our beloved Jesus. Our Savior, full of grace and truth, walked a path of compassion, love, and righteousness. As we reflect upon His holy ways, we discern actions He might refrain from, in the light of His divine nature. Jesus, our guide and shepherd, would not harbor hatred or animosity in His heart. Instead, He taught us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us, as noted in Matthew 5:44. He would not turn away from the downtrodden or the weary; rather, He welcomed the weary and burdened, promising rest for their souls (Matthew 11:28). Furthermore, our Savior would not partake in deceit or falsehood. His life was a testament to truth, as He proclaimed Himself to be "the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6). He would not seek vengeance or retaliation, for His teachings in Matthew 5:39 remind us to turn the other cheek. In His humility, Jesus would not boast or seek His own glory, but always sought to glorify the Father. May we, in our humble pursuit of His ways, endeavor to embody the spirit of love, humility, and truth that our Lord so beautifully exemplified. With a heart full of grace, let us strive to walk in His footsteps, ever seeking to reflect His boundless love and compassion in our lives. Amen.
